Dr. Mary R. (Rosie) Kerr, MD
Dr. Mary R. (Rosie) Kerr MD felt a call to be doctor as a freshman attending Northwest Nazarene University. She received her Medical Doctorate from University of Washington, completed her training at the UCSF Department of Family and Community Medicine, and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She practiced Family Medicine in Yakima, WA and overseas with the Nazarene Church. She and her family returned to Nampa in 2017, and she worked at Saltzer Health for over 6 years.
She is excited to join the team at University Medical Center to work with like-minded people who serve patients with excellence and believe that each person is created in the image of God and should be treated with dignity and compassion. Dr. Kerr is committed to stay informed about the latest developments in Family Medicine and is passionate about empowering patients and educating them about prevention and the reversal of chronic medical conditions through Lifestyle Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, travel, cooking, exercise, participating in church activities, and enjoying nature.
Reynaldo Celestino, FNP
As a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner, Reynaldo Celestino brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and clinical expertise to the healthcare field. He is passionate about the broad range of family practice and enjoys getting to know his patients while helping them with their health care needs. He has a special interest in preventive medicine and bridging the gap in healthcare disparities. Reynaldo believes that immersion in the community he serves allows him to fully understand his patients and their families. It also helps him provide culturally competent care and better meet patients’ specific needs. Originally from Idaho, Reynaldo earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Lewis-Clark State College and a master’s degree as a nurse practitioner from Northwest Nazarene University. Amalia Cardenas, MA
Amalia has been a medical assistant for 12 years. She had originally started her education to become an architect when all of a sudden, she wanted to pursue into the medical field. She enjoys working with the variety of patients that come to University Medical Clinic. When she’s not at the clinic, she loves to be outdoors, travel, and of course spend time with her family.
Tammi Hanger, MA
Tammi has 30 plus years as a Registered Medical Assistant and excited to be working at University Medical Clinic. She values the importance of patient centered care, and she enjoys working with her team to ensure her patients are receiving the best care possible. In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband, kids and grandbabies.
Sara Tatom
Sara is the friendly face you’ll see when you arrive at the clinic. She serves as our front desk receptionist. When she is not helping patients in our clinic, she enjoys spending time with her kids and grandkids. She discovered a love of travel in the last few years and has already traveled to 10 different countries. If you need assistance with scheduling appointments, contacting your provider or other medical needs, she is the one to ask.
Jackie Babb is the Practice Administrator for the University Medical Clinic at Northwest Nazarene University. Jackie is an experienced healthcare leader, with over 30 years in various operations, strategy and business development roles. She is ecstatic about joining the NNU team of dedicated healthcare caregivers.
Jackie was born and has spent most of her life in Idaho. She enjoys spending life enriching time with her family and loved ones. She cherishes the great outdoors, golf, gardening, cooking, and celebrating moments with the community friends she is blessed to have in this life.
